PRACTICE CLINICS

We currently offer the following services:

  • Child Development Clinics for 6 week baby health checks - with     Dr Johal, Dr Cumming, Dr Shanmugarajah
  • Child Immunisation Clinics first & third Tuesdays of the month - 2:15-4:30 With the Practice Nurse.
  • Antenatal Clinics Wednesdays 12:00-14:00 - A visiting midwife sees all pregnant patients from 16 weeks due, by appointment that can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.
  • Chronic Disease Review Patients with a history of asthma, heart disease, high blood pressure, chronic obstructive airway disease, diabetes, thyroid disease, epilepsy or mental health problems are advised to be reviewed on a 6 monthly basis with a nurse or doctor by appointment. You may be reminded to attend for review.
  • Practice Nurses’ Clinics Please make an appointment with our receptionists to see the practice nurse who will be able to help you with: Immunisation for Holiday Travel; Cervical Smears; Ear Syringing; Weight Control; Dressings; Blood Pressure; Checks & Family Planning.
  • The nurses will also review those patients with asthma and diabetes, and give general advice on coronary disease prevention, blood cholesterol, breast examination, exercise, smoking and alcohol consumption.
  • Please note that Out-of-House emergency contraception can be obtained from a Family Planning Clinic or purchased from a pharmacy.
  • Counselling Service We have a counsellor who attends the surgery for sessions once a week. Referrals are made through your GP.

PHLEBOTOMY SERVICE

If you have been given a form for a blood test, you can have this taken at Mount Vernon or
Hillingdon Hospital Path Lab WITHOUT making an appointment.

If you prefer to have your blood test at the surgery, it is necessary to make an appointment on:
01923 845 945 or in person at the Reception desk.

In both cases, it is ESSENTIAL that you bring your blood test form with you when the blood is taken.

DISABLED ACCESS

The Practice Surgery has suitable acess for disabled patients.
All the patients areas including the Front area entrance, waiting rooms, consulting rooms and disabled toilets have wheelchair access.

A designated disabled parking space is located the front parking area. For any assistance, please ask the receptionist
