Dr Mario Di Monaco – Senior Partner

MB.BS. (London), DCH, DRCOG, FRCGP

Qualified from UCL and UCH in July 1982.  He has been in full-time General Practice since 1987 at Eastbury Surgery.  Dr DiMonaco is a fellow at the Royal College of General Practitioner and also holds diplomacy in child health and obstetrics and gynaecology.  He has been a GP trainer for 14 years and supervises the training of many young doctors.  He was also GP tutor to Mount Vernon Hospital for 12 years and an examiner for RCGP for two years.   Dr DiMonaco’s main interests are diabetes, thyroid disease, blood pressure and cholesterol and heart disease.

 

Dr Kuldhir Johal

BM DCH DFFP MRCGP PGCE MSc (Health Informatics – Distinction)

Dr Johal has been a partner at the practice since 1998. She was GP Trainer for the London Deanery for approximately 8 years. She has previously worked at Univeristy College London Hospital, Harefield and Hillingdon Hospital.

She has increased her interest in recent years, in “clinical commissioning”. She is currently working with GPs, at a local, regional and national level and is an Honorary Clinical Commissioning Champion with the Royal College of General Practitioners. She is a Clinical Lead and member of the Hillingdon Clinical Commissioning Group (Executive Board).

Her areas of interest are paediatrics, women’s health, acute and general medicine, as well as information management, technology and service redesign.”

  

Dr Ewa Cumming

MD, DFFP, MRCGP (Merit), PGCE (Merit) (Medical University of Silesia, 1990)

Dr E Cumming qualified in the Medical University of Silesia and after arriving in Britain passed the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board exam to enable her to practice in the UK.  She undertook her vocational GP Training in British hospitals and completed her final year’s training at Northwick Park Hospital in London.  Dr Cumming has worked at Eastbury Surgery since 2004.  She has special interests in diabetes, women’s health and teaching.  Together with other Partners she supervises medical students and trainee doctors.

 

Dr Amanda Shanmugarajah

BMedsci, BMBS, DCH, MRCGP

Dr Amanda trained at the University of Nottingham in 2001 and since then she has done a variety of hospital posts in the Midland and then in London.  She has been practicing at Eastbury Surgery since 2006 having fully completed her GP training in February 2007.  Dr Amanda has a particular interest in child health and asthma.
